Why I became

a counsellor.

I became a counsellor because I genuinely care about people's wellbeing. Creating a space where someone feels heard and supported, no matter what they're going through, is what this work is all about.

What I love most is being part of someone's journey and seeing them grow. There's something deeply meaningful about connecting with people at a real, honest level, and witnessing the positive changes that unfold when they feel truly heard and supported.

Person-Centered, first.

I work primarily from a person-centered approach, which means creating a warm, non-judgmental space where you can process what's going on at your own pace. My role is to listen, understand, and support you without pushing any agenda.

Practical when it helps.

Sometimes that means just being present while you work things through. Other times, I might gently encourage you to explore different perspectives or try new ways of thinking. I draw on CBT, mindfulness, and compassion-focused therapy depending on what's most helpful for you - because there's no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

I take my professional development seriously, because the people I work with deserve quality care backed by solid training and ongoing growth.
