I became a counsellor because I genuinely care about people's wellbeing. Creating a space where someone feels heard and supported, no matter what they're going through, is what this work is all about.

Over the past eight years, I've had the privilege of working with diverse individuals - from adults navigating workplace stress and relationship difficulties, to young people facing bullying and anxiety.

What I love most is being part of someone's journey and seeing them grow. There's something deeply meaningful about connecting with people at a real, honest level - and witnessing the positive changes that unfold when they feel truly heard and supported.

My Approach

I work primarily from a person-centered approach, which means creating a warm, non-judgmental space where you can process what's going on at your own pace. My role is to listen, understand, and support you without pushing any agenda.

Sometimes that means just being present while you work things through. Other times, I might gently encourage you to explore different perspectives or try new ways of thinking. I draw on CBT, mindfulness, and compassion-focused therapy depending on what's most helpful for you - because there's no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy

My Experience

Adults

I have had the privilege of supporting adults in both private practice, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and TAFE. I work with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, workplace challenges, anger management, grief and loss, and life transitions.

I also work with individuals who want a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings, gain clarity, or work towards personal growth.

I understand that navigating these challenges can be overwhelming, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable sharing their experiences.

Children & Young People

Throughout my work in schools, I have addressed a variety of issues, including bullying, self-harm, depression, and anxiety. I understand the unique challenges that young people face today, and I am committed to providing the guidance and support they need to navigate these difficulties.

Specializations

I am comfortable and experienced working with neurodivergent adults and children, including those with ADHD and autism.

I provide a welcoming and affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients.

Qualifications

I achieved my Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Counselling & Psychotherapy and my Post Graduate Diploma (PGDip) in Advanced Counselling & Psychotherapy at the University of Salford, UK.

I’m also a proud member of the Australian Counselling Association (Level 4), which ensures that I maintain the highest standards of training and education in the field.
