My experience

Adults

With over 8 years of experience as a counsellor in the UK and Australia, I’ve supported adults in both private practice, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and TAFE. I work with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, workplace challenges, anger management, grief and loss, and life transitions. I also work with individuals who want a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings, gain clarity, or work towards personal growth.

I understand that navigating these challenges can be overwhelming, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable sharing their experiences.

Children & Young People

Throughout my work in schools, I have addressed a variety of issues, including bullying, self-harm, depression, and anxiety. I understand the unique challenges that young people face today, and I am committed to providing the guidance and support they need to navigate these difficulties.

I am comfortable and experienced working with neurodivergent adults and children, including those with ADHD and autism.

I provide a welcoming and affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients.

Qualifications & Professional Training

I achieved my Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Counselling & Psychotherapy and my Post Graduate Diploma (PGDip) in Advanced Counselling & Psychotherapy at the University of Salford, UK.

I’m a proud member of the Australian Counselling Association (Level 4), means I maintain the highest standards of training and education in the field. This membership ensures I adhere to a strict ethical framework and prioritise your wellbeing and safety at all times.

I engage in regular clinical supervision to ensure I provide the highest quality of care and continue developing as a counsellor.

Let’s find what works for you.

  • Counselling wherever you are. Video therapy gives you the same support as in-person sessions, but with the ease of connecting from home or any private space. It’s flexible, convenient, and ideal if travel, time, or distance make it harder to attend face-to-face.

  • Simple and accessible. Phone sessions provide the same level of support as other formats, ideal if you prefer focusing purely on the conversation without the visual element of video. All you need is a quiet space and your phone - you can even take your session during a lunch break, from your car, or while at home. It's therapy that fits into your life.

  • For some people, sitting in a counselling room feels uncomfortable or limiting. Walk and talk therapy offers an alternative: we meet outdoors. Let’s walk along the beach or meet in a park.

Being in nature can make it easier to open up, reduce anxiety, and bring a sense of calm. The gentle movement of walking often helps thoughts and feelings flow more naturally.

Given Melbourne's weather, we'll always have a backup plan.

Sessions are $100 for 50 minutes. Most people pay through the online booking system, but I'm happy to arrange bank transfer or cash payment if that's easier for you.

Receipts are provided for your records. Some private health funds offer rebates for counselling - please check with your insurer about your coverage.
